Another one of Aspira’s successful international cooperation shows that education of the future holders of the development of Croatian culinary scene follows all the contemporary world trends.
One of the main features of this study program is excellence in all the segments of studying, which results in educating top quality staff that possesses knowledge and skills meeting the highest world standards in gastronomy immediately after finishing the study program. In contemporary classes, i.e. culinary workshops, students are mentored by, among others, the top German chef Michael Noß, who is at the position of the Executive Chef at Leonardo Hotels, and is currently employed in the hotel facility Holiday Inn Düsseldorf Airport – Ratingen.
University College Aspira has already established cooperation with the Leonardo Hotels Group whose HR director for Europe, Mrs Anke Mass, was a guest lecturer at Aspira this spring, and gave a lecture on the subject of “Jobs for hotel”.
Therefore, students at Aspira have the opportunity to do practical training in one of the hotels of the Leonardo Group. They offer their interns (during one-year internship) accommodation and meals free of charge, as well as starting minimum monthly salary of €650.
In addition to the previously established cooperation, the Executive Chef at Leonardo Hotels, Mr Michael Noß is going to be a chef-mentor to the students of Gastronomy, and they are soon going to have the opportunity to see his culinary skills on the Gastro event in Hotel Park.
Chef Michael Noß confirmed his participation in the cooking show where he is going to prepare his specialities to the participants and guests.
