After successful beginning of the Food and Beverage Manager program, Aspire is currently starting the most sought after study in Croatia, which meets the needs of the profession. Croatia is successfully building its position as one of the fastest growing Mediterranean gourmet destination. Growth and development is based on a rich gastronomic and oenological tradition and a growing supply of restaurants offering a wide range of local gastronomy and oenology. If the gastro-oenological product could develop, it is necessary to have a quality staff that is trained in the creation of top-quality products, which keep pace with modern developments.
With the new study program, Gastronomy, Aspira College promotes excellence in this area and, as only such institution, educates students to be carriers of development of Croatian gastronomy. Study will enable students to understand the importance of gastronomy and oenology in creating a complete touristic experience. They will get to know the techniques and history of cooking, meet modern culinary trends and learn to apply them. During modern classes students will be introduced to respected chefs and participate in their workshops as well as apply learned knowledge in the modern kitchens. Organised fieldwork will enable the students an experience of getting to know traditional Croatian gastro-oenological products.
